Nottinghamshire Police have issued a warning to drivers after a 'cool' Ferrari was pulled over. The £180,000 488 GTB was being driven around without the front number plate, prompting police officers to intervene.
The driver of the 488, which has more than 600 horses (bhp) under its bonnet and can go beyond a top speed of 205mph, was pulled over on a rainy day. Pictures, released by Nottinghamshire Police on Wednesday (August 17), show the red Ferrari had been missing its front number plate.
According to the UK Government a driver could be fined up to £1,000, while their vehicle will fail its MOT test, if it is driven with incorrectly displayed number plates. The incident was highlighted by the force's roads policing unit.

Issuing a warning Nottinghamshire Police says: "This is a cool looking car, it will still look cool with the front VRM plate attached. Don't get caught out like this driver, displaying your plates also assists us if your car gets stolen and complies with the law."
