A man in charge of a horse and cart who was travelling on a busy Nottingham road was arrested on suspicion of being drunk. Footage of the incident has circulated online and depicts the horse owner in handcuffs, asking officers "to stop" and saying "you are hurting me".
The 24-year-old was travelling on a public road in Hucknall Lane, in Bulwell, on Saturday evening (July 9). Footage from the scene shows the man clinging onto his cart while talking with the officers.
The man was asked to "let go" by one of the officers, but he refused. The video depicts one of the officers proceeding to kick the man in the leg.
