Nottinghamshire leisure centre puts in temporary entrance after second break-in

A Nottinghamshire leisure centre has told customers it has suffered its second break-in of the year. Lammas Leisure Centre, in Sutton-in-Ashfield, was forced to have a temporary entrance and exit after the break-in, it announced on Saturday, April 30.

It comes after the centre was forced to close temporarily in March this year after a break-in caused some damage. This time, the centre was not forced to close, and all activities there continued as normal. A temporary entrance and exit has been set up near the squash courts.

Lammas Leisure Centre said in a statement: "Customer notice, due to another break in at the leisure centre, we have a temporary entrance and exit at the far exit of the building near the squash courts. All activities will continue as normal. Thank you for your cooperation."
