Three fire engines were called out to the building that houses Nottingham's Hooters restaurant. The appliances - two from London Road and one from Carlton - were called to the Hicking Building at 3.05pm on Tuesday, August 30.
A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said the response was most likely to a report from the flats that are situated inside the building. Two fire engines had left the scene by 3.30pm.
A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Fire Service said: "Three appliances were called to the Hicking Building at 3.05pm. Two crews from London Road and an appliance from Carlton were at the scene. Two appliances have now left, one from London Road is still at the scene."
It is understood the incident was a false alarm
