A sweet shop in Nottingham's Victoria Centre is set to close after two years. Treat Kitchen announced its closure to its fans saying they are "sad" to go.
The Nottingham company sells a selection of edible sweet gifts, including vegan options. They announced their news on Instagram, saying: "After nearly two years we are sad to announce that our wonderful retail store in Victoria Centre is having to close.
"A larger retailer will be taking over the unit at the end of February. We have loved being part of the retail community again in Nottingham. It could not have been possible without our fantastic team who have put in so much love, care and energy to make Treat Kitchen Nottingham a friendly and fun place to shop."

Treat Kitchen say they will continue to be stocked in major retailers including Sainsbury's, Scribbler and Urban Outfitters, which is also within the shopping centre. Their products can also be found on Treat Kitchen's TikTok shop.
They have also announced they will be holding bakery workshops at Sneinton Market. The Treat Kitchen statement on social media added: "Our priority now is to support our team members in finding new opportunities. Please get in touch if you are looking for reliable, friendly and hardworking team members in Nottingham."
Treat Kitchen also had a shop on Wheeler Gate before opening in Victoria Centre. They took over the former Thorntons store and teamed up with six of the redundant employees, who between them have more than 60 years of retail experience.
