Customers will need to download a free voucher at the website to bring with them ahead of their visit. The noodle bar will also partner with Your Local Pantry which has over 80 community food hubs around the country. The business will donate 5,000 food vouchers which will be shared around food hubs in the UK.

James Henderson from Your Local Pantry, said: “The Your Local Pantry network is growing rapidly, as more and more communities see the value and success of the approach. Maximising member choice is always important to us, so we’re very pleased and grateful to be able to partner with Chopstix in this way.”

This initiative is part of Chopstix's continued campaign, 'Noodle Aid' which aims to deliver food to a number of cities and places around the UK for free.

Rob Burns, marketing director for Chopstix, said: “The last few years have been a challenging time for people across the UK and now the cost of living crisis is putting more and more people under continued pressure.

“We wanted to do something to mark National Noodle Day that would look to make even a little difference and give people something to smile about. We’re both excited and proud to be able to donate 10,000 noodle boxes to people across the UK during these uncertain times…and everyone loves noodles right?”
