Nottingham’s Bella Ramsey caused a huge stir on the internet when they turned up to their first ever Met Gala in an incredible sparkling suit. The 19-year-old from the city looked stunning in their Thom Browne outfit.
The Last of Us star, who identifies as non-binary, cut a dash on the red carpet at the annual fundraising gala held for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City. Their Last of Us co-star, Pedro Pascal, also drew attention with a flamboyant outfit, which included a red trench coat and shorts.
Nottingham-born actor Bella reached widespread acclaim whilst appearing in Game of Thrones and the new zombie series has been a smash hit. They have also signed up for the long-awaited Chicken Run sequel, entitled Dawn of the Nugget.

People took to Twitter to praise Bella. Vikinggal said: “Bella looks amazing!” Asher added: “Can’t get over how cool Bella looks I love their outfit.”
Some were amazed at the totally different looks from their latest Last of Us show. Ligaya added: “They’re both stunning I am literally screaming and crying!!”
Cat said: “And don’t they both look fabulous! Very unique and classy.” Engaging said: “Bella looks very pretty, but Pedro with the shorts is hilarious.”
Previously, the Nottingham performer also led the 2017 TV adaptation of The Worst Witch books, as titular character Mildred Hubble. For performances over 40 episodes, Bella won the Young Performer award at the 2019 British Academy Children’s Awards.
Currently, Bella is playing the lead character of Netflix series Hilda, winning a BAFTA. The series also utilises Bella’s singing talent and has seen the release of a debut song The Life of Hilda.
This year, in a long awaited sequel to Chicken Run, Bella will provide the voice of Molly in Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget. The stop-motion film will be released on Netflix in 2023 and features Zachary Levi, Thandiwe Newton, David Bradley, Romesh Ranganathan, Daniel Mays and Nick Mohammed.
