A Nottingham mum says she cried through her Easyjet flight back to the UK from Turkey after she was charged extra for baggage and also claims she was mistreated by a worker at the airport. Iqra Raza, who was returning from a week-long break in Marmaris with her husband and young son on July 15, claims an airport worker was rude to her and started "smashing" her bag.
The 28-year-old from Sneinton was told to pay a further £48 for her third piece of hold luggage when checking in at Dalaman, despite already booking and paying for it days earlier. After contesting this Ms Raza, who had already forked out £7.50 for the 15kg bag, said the man started being rude.
"I had already booked it four days before but they said it wasn't showing on their system," she told Nottinghamshire Live. "He then started banging my suitcases around and when I got back I noticed two expensive bottles of perfumes had been broken."

The out-of-work nurse said this distressed her one-year-old son, who began to cry. "He kept our passports and left us waiting. Eventually a woman came and took my card and charged me £48 for the bag. Everyone else there said I should complain as they shouldn't treat me like that.
"I don't feel like flying with EasyJet ever again, I was crying for the whole flight back." Ms Raza has sent a formal complaint to the holiday company as she wants to be compensated for the additional baggage and broken perfume.
In an email sent to Ms Raza responding to her complaint, Easyjet apologised for the incident. The airline said that feedback would be shared and whilst the outcome was confidential, it assured "that any action and training needed will be implemented".
An Easyjet spokesperson said: "Unfortunately Ms Raza arrived at bag drop with an additional bag for her flight and so in line with our terms and conditions of travel was required to pay for this at the airport. All customers are clearly informed of their bag allowance when booking and are reminded of this ahead of travel.
“We are looking into Ms Raza’s feedback on her experience at the airport with our ground handling partner at Dalaman and as a gesture of goodwill have refunded the cost of her additional bag."
