People attending one of the 'largest popular culture events in East Midlands' had to be evacuated during their event at Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham. Em-Con fans were asked to evacuate the building on Sunday afternoon, June 11, following the incident.
The venue has issued a statement explaining why the they had to take this measure. The alarm system was activated by a small electrical fault, the Motorpoint Arena said.
The source was quickly identified and isolated, the venue added. They also thanked the attendees for their cooperation.
