Nottingham Forest's focus now turns to a Championship showdown with fellow promotion hopefuls Queens Park Rangers at the City Ground on Wednesday night (7.45pm kick-off).
The Reds will be looking to build on their 4-0 triumph over Reading last time out as they bid to boost their play-off hopes. Steve Cooper's men are currently ninth, just a couple of points off a top-six spot.
QPR are fourth but only four points better off than Forest, who have a game in hand on them. Mark Warburton's side won 2-1 at Luton Town on Saturday, following successive defeats.
Former Reds midfielder David Prutton believes in-form Forest will be too strong for the visitors on the night. He is predicting a 2-1 home win for his old team, who face Liverpool in the quarter-final of the FA Cup this weekend.

"Nottingham Forest made light work of Reading on Saturday," Prutton wrote in his Sky Sports column. "Their FA Cup quarter-final with Liverpool is on the horizon, but there is work to do against QPR in midweek. "QPR snatched an excellent comeback win against Luton at the weekend, which fired them back into the top six. "This is a tough trip, though. Forest should have too much at the City Ground."
Prutton prediction: Nottingham Forest 2-1 QPR.
