Nottingham Forest warned about 'big mistake' after Man Utd transfer update

Nottingham Forest supporters have responded to the transfer interest in Dean Henderson ahead of the summer.

The shot-stopper who joined Forest on a season-long loan from Manchester United, has emerged as a summer target for two unnamed clubs. It is reported that those clubs have already been in contact with United over a potential switch.

The 26-year-old has been out of action for Forest since January, after suffering a thigh injury in the win over Leicester City. Henderson is under contract until 2025 at Old Trafford, and there is a possibility that United could look to cash in on him.

He has been subject of high praise from fans during his appearances in Garibaldi Red and many would like to see him make the permanent move to the City Ground - should the club remain in the top-flight.

Here is what the Reds faithful have said on social media...

Josh Luke: "We need to go after him, he has proved his sheer ambition playing for us!"

Asim Hama: "If we are serious about staying in Prem, big mistake to let him go!"

Sean Patrick: "Loanees don't stay at Forest. We should be used to it by now."

Darren Bailey: "Massive mistake."

MB07: "I would say, Forest stay up Hendo is going to be signed. Go down he is gone along with BJ."

Tom Bruce: "Prob end up at spurs just to warm the bench like Spence."

Edward Cundy: "I think we will stay up, but Henderson will want top flight football so would not join, should we go down."

Ian Whiston: "Hope we stay up and Buy him if we can afford 40M for Gibbo we can afford him!"

JonesieBoy: "Annoys me we could never buy this goalkeeper top."
