Striker's agent teases transfer talk amid Forest 'interest'
The agent of Nottingham Forest-linked Walid Cheddira says “many clubs” are eyeing up the forward ahead of January.
The 24-year-old has been in sparkling form for Bari in Serie B. And he is part of the Morocco squad which is in the semi-finals of the World Cup.
Reports in Italy have suggested the Reds are keen on bringing him to the Premier League as they plot reinforcements in the January window. Tottenham Hotspur and Watford have also been credited with an interest, as have Lazio and Napoli.
Defender 'in talks' over January transfer
Defender Loic Bade has been linked with a January move after struggling to force his way into contention at Nottingham Forest.
The 22-year-old made the switch to the City Ground in the summer on a season-long loan from Rennes, with the Reds holding an option to sign him permanently. However, he has found himself down the pecking order and is yet to get on the pitch for Steve Cooper’s side.
His parent club are said to be ready to recall him next month. And reports in Spain have suggested Sevilla are interested in taking him for the second half of the season.
Midfielder's future becomes clearer
Nottingham Forest-linked Ruslan Malinovskyi is said to be edging closer to a January move to Tottenham Hotspur.
The Reds were credited with an interest in the Atalanta attacking midfielder in the summer, ahead of their return to the Premier League. Those links then resurfaced as attention turned to the winter transfer window, with the City Ground being tipped as the player’s destination of choice.
West Ham United and Marseille were also mooted as potential suitors, but reports in Italy suggest it is now Spurs who are leading the way to secure his signature. Calciomercato say the player is “increasingly close to Tottenham”, and his club could be willing to drop their asking price.
Forest given 'green light' to land £17m ace
The door might have been opened for Nottingham Forest to reignite their interest in promising midfielder Yunus Musah in January.
The Valencia youngster is said to be keen on a new challenge. And his club are reportedly prepared to listen to offers, which might be of interest to the Reds ahead of the window reopening.
Musah was said to be on Forest’s radar in the summer as they prepared for life in the Premier League. Reports in Spain suggested they had a £25m offer for the midfielder turned down.
