Nottingham Forest have reportedly had a £2.5million bid for Blackpool winger Josh Bowler rejected.
The 23-year-old is seemingly back on the Reds' radar as Steve Cooper remains keen to add the Championship star to his ranks before the transfer deadline on September 1. With Bowler out of contract next summer, the Seasiders are reportedly prepared to accept an offer of £4m plus add-ons, according to journalist Alan Nixon.
The report also notes that: "Blackpool hinted at the weekend - when the bid was made - that decent money and a quick sale could work for them."

Meanwhile, newly-promoted side Fulham are also in the race to land the winger, while Bournemouth have also "retained a live interest". Bowler has featured in all five of Blackpool's league games so far this term.
Speaking about the interest from clubs on his player, boss Michael Appleton said: "There’s clearly a lot of interest in the lad and we’re aware he’s an absolute talent. He did ever so well for the football club last season and we want him to continue to do that this season.
"But at the same time, I’m pretty confident my board won’t allow him to go for cheap, so you’ve got to weigh up the risk and the reward in these situations because we know his contract is up."
Bowler is perhaps unsurprisingly said to be keen on the chance of playing in the Premier League.
