Nottingham Forest transfers: Man Utd move and the chances of four others

The summer transfer window officially opened on June 14 and Nottingham Forest's attention will turn to who is coming and going as they prepare for another season in the Premier League.

With it set to be a busy transfer period at the City Ground, Forest have been linked with serveral players including Romain Saiss, Dean Henderson, Robin Gosens and Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Bookmakers Sky Bet are offering odds on Forest to sign five players in the summer transfer window. Those include players currently at Southampton and Manchester United.

Callum Hudson-Odoi (7/2)

Forest are currently second favourites to sign the Chelsea man before the end of the summer transfer window. Bookmakers have any Saudi Pro League club frontrunners at 6/4 to land the 22-year-old.

He spent the second half of last season on loan with German side Bayer Leverkusen. The Reds have been named as a club interested in signing the player this summer, which is reflected in the odds.

Other clubs included in the odds are: Fulham (4/1), Crystal Palace (6/1), West Ham (14/1), Newcastle United (16/1), Brentford (18/1), Aston Villa (20/1), Everton (25/1), Brighton (28/1).

James Maddison (40/1)

The Leicester City man is expected to leave the club after relegation to the Championship, but a move to wither Newcastle or Tottenham looks the most likely. The Magpies are currently 5/4 to complete the transfer, while Spurs are in front with odds of 10/11.

Forest are somewhat of a surprise inclusion in the list with odds of 40/1, the same as West Ham and Bayern Munich (50/1).

James Ward-Prowse (28/1)

Another relegated player in Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse is priced at 28/1 for a move to the City Ground, though Forest are some way down the pecking order. West Ham are favourites for his signature at 5/4, followed by Fulham (4/1), Tottenham (7/1), Liverpool (9/1), Newcastle (10/1) and Aston Villa (16/1).

Paul Pogba (33/1)

An even steeper outside shot is for Paul Pogba to join Forest from Juventus. Forest are priced way out at 33/1, with a host of clubs ahead of them in the pecking order. They include a move to the MLS (9/2). a move to Saudi Arabia (5/1), PSG (12/1), Barcelona (18/1) and Real Madrid (20/1).

Scott McTominay (18/1)

Man United midfielder Scott McTominay could be another to make a move down to the East Midlands. Again, Newcastle are the favourites to sign him - at 7/4. Then it's Everton (6/1), West Ham (7/1), Forest (18/1), Crystal Palace (25/1) and Leicester City (33/1).
