Nottingham Forest Cheikhou Kouyaté was substituted after 30 minutes on his return from injury against Aston Villa on Saturday.
The midfielder made his first Forest start after spending four months on the sidelines with a hamstring injury. It appeared that Kouyate aggravated his hamstring again, and went down injured.
After a short fitness test on the sideline, it became clear that Kouyate could not continue and was replaced by Remo Freuler on the half-hour mark.

Since joining on a two-year deal from Crystal Palace last summer, Kouyaté has made 14 appearances in the Premier League under head coach Steve Cooper.
It was a surprise to see him named in the Senegal squad during last month's international break, with him joining training with the squad for Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Mozambique - though he did not feature.
