Nottingham Forest 'stance' on signing Man United loanee Dean Henderson and more transfer rumours

Nottingham Forest want to sign Manchester United loanee Dean Henderson on a permanent basis, according to reports.

The England goalkeeper has been on loan at the City Ground this season. Henderson has been injured since Christmas but after Forest secured their Premier League status on Saturday, they want to make hima permanent addition. That's according to the Telegraph.

Forest are said to be ready to ‘pursue’ a permanent deal for Henderson, with the player open to a move. It could however depend on United’s situation with David De Gea, who is yet to sign a new contract with the club.

In other news, Manchester United are reportedly advancing in talks to renew Facundo Pellistri's contract.

The Uruguayan forward joined the club in 2020 and signed an initial five-year deal at Old Trafford. Pellistri has made eight appearances for the club in all competitions.

Pellistri's agent admitted the winger needs more game time in January and there has been reports that he could be allowed to leave on loan next season. With that in mind, a new deal would make sense to protect his value.

“It’s clear to us that Manchester United want Facu Pellistri to stay at the club, one of the greatest in the world,” he told Sport 890 in January. “However, we need him to play. There are many options in Europe for him.”

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that United are advancing in talks and could be set to agree a new deal. He claims that talks are continuing with an agreement close.
