Nottingham Forest have shot into the bookmakers' odds to clinch a shock transfer for Gareth Bale as he prepares to leave Real Madrid this summer.
Bale has played his last game for the Spanish giants who secured the Champions League trophy last night following a 1-0 victory over Liverpool.

Cardiff City have been deemed by Sky Bet as the favourites to secure Bale having been priced at 1/3 to land what would be a remarkable transfer.
But the Wales captain could fancy a move to other clubs in the MLS while a return to Tottenham and a switch to Newcastle are also options according to the bookies.
But in recent days Forest have shot into the odds list and are now priced at 20/1 just below Atletico Madrid.
