Nottingham Forest transfer target Tiemoue Bakayoko is increasingly likely to leave AC Milan this summer, according to reports in Italy.
The 27-year-old midfielder has been one of the many names linked with the Reds in recent weeks after Steve Cooper continues to build his squad this summer. Bakayoko is currently halfway through his two season-long loan spell at Milan from Chelsea.
Bakayoko arrived at Stamford Bridge for around £40million in 2017 after playing a starring role in AS Monaco's Ligue 1 triumph. The Frenchman went on to make 43 appearances for Chelsea but has spent the previous four seasons away from London with AC Milan, Monaco and Napoli.

He made 18 appearances in all competitions for Milan last year as Stefano Piolo's side won their first Scudetto since 2011. However, Sandro Tonali, Ismael Bennacer and Frank Kessie were the main-stay in midfield, resulting in reports in Italy linking Forest with the midfielder during the close season.
Now, fresh reports from Sky Italia (via Francesco Nasato) have said that Milan will hold "new talks" with the Reds this week and are willing to allow Bakayoko to end his loan early. Forest's pursuit must be accepted by Chelsea, the player's parent club.
With Remo Freuler announced as signing number 15 following Sunday's 1-0 victory over West Ham, it remains unclear whether Forest will continue with their move for Bakayoko.
