Nottingham Forest sent 'superb' striker message as fresh transfer link emerges

Nottingham Forest continue to be linked with several players this summer transfer window - the latest being Che Adams.

The 25-year-old was previously linked with a move to the City Ground back in January 2020.

He stayed at Southampton and has gone on to rack up a total of 110 appearances for the Saints. With another two years on his current deal, he is believed to be valued at £16million.

Last season, he made 33 appearances in all competitions, scoring eight goals in the process, with Ralph Hasenhuttl's men cementing a 15th place finish.

Here is what the Forest faithful have had to say on whether they believe he would be a good signing...

Jack Brown: "Che Adams would be the best signing of the summer by a mile in my opinion if we could pull it off."

David Hickman: "It isn't a pre-season without being linked to Che Adams."

JesusC: "Adams, I think we could aim higher."

Carlscotney: "Adams does not score enough goals."

Ant Lord: "Che Adams would be a superb signing!"

SCB17: "No thanks, a lot of money for Premier League bang average."

Liam Henshaw: "Che Adams seems like it makes sense to me in 3-4-1-2 system."

David: "I'd prefer Keinan Davis to Che Adams."

YDK: "Can't believe Che is still only 25. From up this way too."

Steve Mullet: "I think he'd be perfect as one of the two. Although suspect Southampton might want some big money!"

Deano: "Not sure he be good value for £20m plus, don't score or do enough in final third. We need to be clinical in final third this season. Doubt Southampton going to sell him to relegation rival."
