Fresh Cheikhou Kouyaté injury update ahead of England vs Senegal World Cup knockout clash
Nottingham Forest and Senegal midfielder Cheikhou Kouyaté has missed training ahead of his country's World Cup last 16 clash against England on Sunday.
Kouyaté was one of three players to miss Senegal training on Thursday, with the midfielder having picked up an injury in their opening group game against the Netherlands on November 21.

Nottingham Forest transfers: Djed Spence instruction issued as defender exit 'likely'
Nottingham Forest made a name for themselves in the summer transfer window and preparations will already have started ahead of January.
Steve Cooper is getting his squad back up to speed before the Reds return to action against Blackburn Rovers in the Carabao Cup on December 21. It will give the Forest boss more time to gel his new-look squad together after the club’s 22 new signings, though the team already produced an upturn in form prior to the World Cup break.
Forest’s last league win over Crystal Palace before the season was paused left the team just one point adrift of safety. Cooper will be determined to lift the club out of the relegation zone and has already been linked with reinforcements in the New year. Here’s a round-up of the latest transfer stories surrounding the City Ground :
Neco Williams snaps back after 'pathetic' claim made about World Cup incident
Nottingham Forest wing-back Neco Williams has snapped back after receiving unfair criticism.
Williams was substituted in Wales' World Cup group game against England on Tuesday after he was struck on the top of the head by a powerful shot from Marcus Rashford. After an initial assessment, he carried on for 12 minutes before coming off.
Former Sheffield United midfielder Curtis Woodhouse gave his controversial take on the situation via his Twitter account. Despite being a former professional boxer and now a non-league football manager, he does not seem to have a serious view on concussion protocols in the sport.
Nottingham Forest youngster attracting interest from four Premier League clubs
Nottingham Forest youngster Billy Fewster is understood to be attracting interest from four Premier League clubs as he looks to breakthrough at the City Ground.
The 19-year-old Under-21s midfielder has regularly trained with the first team and is currently with Steve Cooper's group along with the likes of Dale Taylor and Oliver Hammond after the senior players returned from their break.
Fewster is out of contract in the summer and would hope to extend his stay beyond then. A loan move for the attack minded midfielder in January is possible at League Two or National League level, although there is believed to be interest from League One.
