Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey has vowed to "keep going as long as I can".
The goalkeeper, who turns 36 in January, has played just two games for the Reds this season after being stuck behind Manchester United loanee Dean Henderson in the pecking order.
Hennessey joined from Burnley in the summer on a two-year deal and, while he has not been playing much club football, has no plans to slow down any time soon. The Welsh goalkeeper is currently in Qatar for the 2022 World Cup and has been speaking about his future in a press conference.

“I will keep going as long as I can. I feel good, and my body is in good shape, touch wood, with no injuries,” he said.
“Competition is always healthy. There is only one shirt which is available, and whoever has got it we wish them all the best.”
While Hennessey was discussing competition with Danny Ward for the Wales number one shirt, he will likely be taking the same approach with Henderson at Forest. The Man United loanee will return to Old Trafford next summer and it is unclear what the future holds for him beyond that.
On competing with Ward at the World Cup, Hennessey added: “All of us here, we’re in good form. That number one shirt is up for grabs.
“It’s a healthy decision, a good decision to have from the manager’s point of view. We’ll see.”
