Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club have rescheduled their T20 match against Northamptonshire Steelbacks due to it clashing with the Championship play-off final on the same day. Nottingham Forest will face Huddersfield Town at Wembley on Sunday 29 May.
Forest have enjoyed a remarkable season since Steve Cooper took charge at the City Ground in September last year. The former Swansea boss has guided the Reds from the bottom of the Championship table to being on the verge of ending a 23-year absence from the Premier League.
A tense semi-final second leg against Sheffield United ended in Forest reaching the play-off final after a nervy win on penalties. Victory against Huddersfield at the end of May will see Forest return to the top flight for the first time since the 1998/99 campaign.

And the historic occasion at Wembley has led to another famous sports club in the city rescheduling their match so it won't clash with the Reds' fixture on the same day. Notts Outlaws will now face Northamptonshire Steelbacks a day later.
A statement released by the club said: "Notts Outlaws’ Vitality Blast fixture against Northamptonshire Steelbacks, originally scheduled for Sunday 29 May, will now take place on Monday 30 May.
"The Outlaws’ second home T20 match of the summer has been rearranged after Nottingham Forest secured their passage to the Championship Play-Off Final at Wembley on the fixture’s original date.
"Dan Christian’s side will now meet Northants a day later, with a scheduled start time of 6.30pm. The Charlotte Edwards Cup contest between Lightning and Southern Vipers is unaffected, and will remain at 11am on Sunday 29 May."
