Nottingham Forest have moved a step closer to confirming their first signing of the summer in the form of Union Berlin forward Taiwo Awoniyi.
The 24-year-old Bundesliga ace travelled to England on June 23 in order to undergo a medical ahead of his move to the City Ground being confirmed.
After signing for Liverpool back in 2015, Awoniyi failed to make a single appearance for the club during a six-year spell at the club. He was dispatched on seven loans across Europe due to work permit issues.
