Nottingham Forest fans have aired their frustrations after being told that Steve Cook cannot be registered for their squad.
The central defender had been left out of the 25-man squad but manager Steve Cooper was optimistic that the club could integrate him back into the fold through an appeal to the Premier League. However, that appeal has been rejected and Forest fans on social media are not surprised.

@TrickyLMC: The club seemed very confident this was a normal procedure that’s within the rules so I don’t understand what’s happened. We are going to have to rush Nik back now.
