Nottingham Forest fans continue to snap up tickets for Sunday’s Championship play-off final against Huddersfield Town.
More than 28,000 have now been sold since they first went on sale last Thursday. That comes after the club said there were “record sales” during the first hour of them being available last week.
Steve Cooper’s Reds will take on the Terriers under the famous arch, with promotion to the Premier League the prize up for grabs. And, just as they have been all season, they will be backed in huge numbers.

Forest have been allocated 36,475 general admission tickets at the West End of Wembley Stadium. More than two thirds of that total have now been sold.
From 9am this morning, NFFC members were able to secure their seats. And from noon, fans with a booking history of at least three fixtures during this season have been able to buy tickets.
Season card holders were able to clinch their places last week. From noon tomorrow (Tuesday), fans with a booking history of at least one fixture this term will get their chance. And from noon on Wednesday, tickets will be available to anyone with a Forest booking history.
The club say the “best ticket availability and selection” is available via the online ticket office or the phone, through Ticketmaster. They are encouraging supporters to avoid queueing “unnecessarily” in-person “and keep the NFFC Ticket Office phone lines free for disabled supporters”.
They add there is “only very limited selection available in-person”. And they have said: “Due to phased sales periods, allocation will NOT sell out on Monday.”
Cooper’s side saw off Sheffield United to book their place in the final and put them 90 minutes away from ending their 23-year top-flight exile. They triumphed on penalties on a dramatic night at the City Ground last Tuesday.
