Head coach Steve Cooper says Nottingham Forest are not aiming for a specific points target in their battle to avoid the drop.
The Reds have “an idea” of what might be required to finish above the dotted line as they fight to retain their Premier League status. But that can change week to week, depending how results go.
With four games left, Cooper’s team are in 17th spot on 30 points. However, having let a lead slip to fall to defeat at Brentford on Saturday, they will drop back into the relegation zone tonight regardless of the outcome of the clash between Leicester City and Everton.

Forest have to wait until a week today before they are next in action, when they host bottom side Southampton in a crucial match at the City Ground. It leaves them with a long time to stew over how they allowed victory to slip from their grasp in the capital.
"It will feel like an age,” Cooper said. “You take the schedule as it comes and try to put the right plan in place, in terms of loading and recovery. We'll stick to that plan. You learn from the game and do everything you can to be as ready as you can be for the next game.
"There's a lot of games to be played between now and then, and things will change I'm sure. But when it comes around, we'll tackle it head on, face up to it and be ready to go for it.
"Looking at the guys, I don't think anybody is questioning the confidence. There was no lack of confidence or lack of spirit or togetherness. We have that, there's no doubt about that.
"Decision-making? Yeah. Fatigue? Yeah. Moments didn't go our way, but we've just got to keep going.
"Southampton will feel like an age away. But we have no choice but to accept and do better and give everything for the Southampton game.
"It's a really disappointed dressing room. It's about getting back to the training ground and talking about it, getting over it.
"We don’t really have a points target. We obviously have an idea of what we think it takes, but it changes again after this one. Let's see how the games go.”
