Nottingham Forest have been overlooked in discussions about which club Tottenham should loan Djed Spence to.
Forest's promotion-winning wing-back joined Tottenham in the summer after play-off glory with the Reds, but has been something of an afterthought under their boss Antonio Conte. He could now be set for a January move to a Premier League team.
He is now set to go on loan, with football.london's Alistair Gold reporting: "It looks likely with the player needing minutes and Bayer Leverkusen, Southampton, Crystal Palace and West Ham United all having registered an interest among others in the 22-year-old."

Tottenham supporters have taken to social media to discuss where they would like Spence to go. Forest haven't even earned a mention, with other Premier League sides taking preference.
@g_brooks_ : Palace would be my first choice. Leverkusen next due to system and if it could tempt Hincapie / Frimpong negotiations.
@Benny94699202 : Sending him to West Ham would be an insult to him. Palace or Southampton, whichever one he will get the most minutes.
@alexleyton2021 : Loan to Southampton They have a lot of players we could look at it the summer so be good to keep them sweet.
@Jed87424307 : He's not had a fair chance, been treated poorly. Seeing Emerson and Doherty have stinkers week in week out, he must be thinking what can I do. Loan him out, we sign Porro then next season get him back and get Doherty and Emerson gone.
@steveagile75 : I would say a loan move is best, but not to a team in a relegation battle. Perhaps a Burnley, Brentford, or Brighton. Palace possibly.
@dillonwpatrick1 : Send him to palace... leverage that to get Olise in.
@ThfcAH28 : Southampton, best place to nurture talent.
@AndyTho90265398 : Whole situation is a joke. Best full back in the championship, marked Martinelli out of the game in the cup for Forest. Signs for us in a position which badly needed someone with pace who can attack and defend and has to be play second fiddle to Emerson and Doherty!
@PerrySpurs : Let him flourish somewhere, it's like buying a Ferrari and letting it rot in a damp garage.
