There are question marks over Nottingham Forest's goalkeeping situation ahead of next season following the injury to Dean Henderson and the arrival of Keylor Navas from PSG.
Both stoppers are on loan with their respective futures up in the air. Manchester United are still undecided over Henderson’s long-term future while Champions League winner Navas could be looking to break away from PSG after falling behind Gianluigi Donnarumma in the pecking order at Parc de Princes.
Meanwhile, another keeper who does have permanent ties with the Reds is quietly having an impressively miserly season. Ethan Horvath is enjoying a fabulous loan spell with Championship high-flyers Luton Town. Ahead of today’s game against Coventry, the American hadn’t conceded a league goal in almost five hours and is aiming for his fourth consecutive league shutout as the Hatters punch above their weight in the second tier.

Horvath has kept 12 clean sheets in 28 league games and is in the shake-up for the Championship’s Golden Gloves Award. He did concede three as a much-changed Luton side were dumped out of the FA Cup at Grimsby Town on Tuesday. But all in all, it has been an excellent loan spell for Horvath, who is enjoying the regular football he struggled to secure at Forest.
“Of course clean sheets are nice, but I’ve come to the conclusion that when I go to play a game of football, I just want to focus on giving the best performance that I can to the team,” he told Luton Today ahead of today’s game.
“If a guy puts a shot top bins, it’s not like I’m going to be disappointed or upset because there's only so much you can do on some stuff. I think clean sheets is not all down to me, it’s also down to the team.
"For example, the Blackpool game away, I made some saves in the game, but also Tom [Lockyer] and other guys defensively, Pelly [Mpanzu] made some amazing blocks as well.
“I don’t really set out a number because I just kind of go with the flow as I just want to put in good performances for the team and try my best to help them as best as I can.”
