Nottingham Forest have reportedly 'enquired' about Besiktas centre-back Romain Saiss.
The former Wolves man joined the Super Lig side in the summer after the West Midlands side refused to meet his two-year contract and salary demands. Reds boss Steve Cooper, meanwhile, is keen to boost his defensive options with the club also pushing to sign Atletico Madrid's Felipe.
Saiss made a name for himself in the Premier League during a six-year stint with Wolves. According to Turkish journalist Gokmen Ozcan, Forest are 'one of three clubs' to have made an enquiry for the player.

However, the Turkish outfit are understood to be reluctant to sell their player. So it remains to be seen whether the Reds can persuade the club in the next few hours.
The Morocco international is under contract until 2024 and the club have the option to extend it for another year.
