Nottingham Forest have been credited with an interest in Inter Milan striker Andrea Pinamonti, according to reports in Italy.
Forest have been active in the transfer window, adding 12 new players to their squad ahead of the start of the Premier League this weekend. The Reds start their campaign with a trip to St James’ Park to take on Newcastle United.
In recent days, Forest have been linked with forwards, suggesting that Steve Cooper is on the lookout for more firepower before the window closes. The club did sign striker Taiwo Awoniyi earlier this summer, but now look to be looking for other strikers.

The latest to be linked is Pinamonti, who has been with Inter since joining the club from Genoa in the summer of 2020. He has however failed to make an impact at the club and spent last season on loan with Empoli.
During his temporary stay, the 23-year-old scored 13 goals in 36 Serie A appearances. His performances earning admiring glances from potential suitors.
According to Corriere dello Sport (via SportsWitness) , Forest are one of the clubs to have ‘made contact’ with Inter to ask for more information over a possible transfer for the striker. The Reds are not alone though with both Atalanta and Sassuolo also said to be interested.
It is claimed that Forest have been asked to pay a fee of €20 million (£16.7 million) should they wish to complete a deal this summer. The report adds that Atalanta are not keen to go above €15 million (£12.6 million).
If Forest are willing to meet the demands of Inter, it would put them in the lead in a potential transfer race for the forward.
