Nottingham Forest live Q&A - January transfers, Reds' Premier League start, World Cup break

A return to action may be some way off for Nottingham Forest, but the next few weeks are of no less importance.

The World Cup break provides the opportunity to reflect on the Reds’ start to the campaign. And head coach Steve Cooper will also get to spend valuable time on the training ground with his players as they aim to keep climbing the table when the Premier League resumes next month.

The Welshman is also planning to use the hiatus to discuss January transfer plans with recently-appointed sporting director Filippo Giraldi. The winter window will not be anywhere near as busy as the summer one was at the City Ground, but overseeing the right deals could be crucial in the battle for survival.

It all means there is plenty to talk about in our weekly Forest webchat. Reds reporter Sarah Clapson will be in the hot seat from noon, answering your questions and responding to comments.

Do you believe Forest have turned a corner, having signed off with an impressive Carabao Cup win over Tottenham Hotspur and a well-deserved three points against Crystal Palace? Or are you concerned the break comes at a bad time, with a bit of momentum having been built up?

Are you confident Cooper’s side can stay up? Who is your player of the season so far? What business should the club look to do in January? You can also discuss your thoughts on our Forest Big Forum survey, which you can fill in below or find, here.

You can have your say on the above topics and any others which spring to mind in our live Q&A. Submit any questions or comments in the comments section below.

Feel free to get them in early. You can then join the debate when Sarah’s webchat goes live at noon.

Get involved in the Q&A by submitting your questions and comments, here.
