Nottingham Forest live Q&A - Danilo, January transfers, Leicester City clash

After a brilliant night on the banks of the Trent, Nottingham Forest will be aiming for another positive result in a big game on Saturday.

The Reds reached the semi-finals of the League Cup for the first time since 1992 when they overcame Wolverhampton Wanderers in midweek. There was plenty of drama, with a penalty shootout required to separate the teams and a scuffle at the end of it all.

Attention now turns to the weekend’s crunch clash with Leicester City, while the January transfer window is also beginning to crank into gear. And that means there is plenty to talk about in our weekly live Forest webchat. Reds reporter Sarah Clapson will be in the hot seat from noon, answering questions and responding to comments.

Ahead of taking on the Foxes, Steve Cooper’s side sit 15th in the Premier League table. Both sides are on 17 points, but the Reds have made considerable strides since the last time they met their near-neighbours - a miserable night in October, when they were on the end of a 4-0 thumping.

How should the hosts line up on Saturday? What have you made of Gustavo Scarpa’s start to life in the Garibaldi? How are you feeling about the Carabao Cup semi-final draw which leaves Dean Henderson almost certain to miss out on featuring against parent club Manchester United?

Scarpa remains the only new arrival at the City Ground so far this window. But other reinforcements look to be on the way, with the Brazilian on course to reunite with former Palmeiras teammate Danilo.

What other business should the club look to do before the window closes? Does Cooper have enough strength in depth as the injuries continue to pile up?

You can have your say on the above topics and any others which spring to mind in our live Q&A. Submit any questions or comments in the comments section below.

Feel free to get them in early. You can then join the debate when Sarah’s webchat goes live at 12pm.
