Nottingham Forest live Q&A - Arsenal clash, Liverpool win, selection dilemma

Nottingham Forest will be eager to build on last weekend’s memorable victory when they make the trip to face Arsenal on Sunday.

Taiwo Awoniyi’s goal brought an end to a run of nine Premier League matches without a win for the Reds as Liverpool were toppled at the City Ground. It was quite the result, quite the performance and quite the atmosphere Trentside.

And it means there is plenty to talk about in our live Forest webchat. Reds reporter Sarah Clapson will be in the hot seat from noon, answering questions and responding to comments.

It was a terrific team display against Jurgen Klopp’s side, with significant contributions across the pitch. Dean Henderson made some superb saves, but the hosts had chances to increase their lead, with Ryan Yates, Morgan Gibbs-White and Brennan Johnson all not too far away from getting on the scoresheet.

Should head coach Steve Cooper stick with the same starting XI for the clash at the Emirates Stadium? How many points do you think Forest can get from their next three league games before the World Cup break? Are you confident they can start moving up the table?

It is certainly tight at the bottom. Just five points separate the Reds from Brentford, who are in 11th spot.

After taking on the Gunners, Cooper’s men have the Bees and Crystal Palace to come at home, with a Carabao Cup tie against Tottenham Hotspur sandwiched between, before the action pauses for six weeks.

You can have your say on the above topics, and any others which spring to mind, and submit any questions or comments in the comments section below. Feel free to get them in early, then join the debate when Sarah’s webchat goes live at noon.
