Aston Villa have received several loan offers from Championship clubs for former Nottingham Forest loanee Keinan Davis.
The 24 year-old returned to Villa at the end of last season but has yet to feature for Steven Gerrard's side since suffering a hamstring injury setback. Davis had been due to return for the club's under-21s in their Premier League 2 opener against Middlesbrough but, unlike Anwar El Ghazi, the striker did not feature.
Danny Ings started the season up front for Villa during their defeat to Bournemouth with both Ollie Watkins and Cameron Archer introduced from the bench. All three appear to be ahead of Davis in the pecking order at Villa Park.

NottinghamshireLive's sister title BirminghamLive reports that Davis is one of three players that Villa have had several loan offers from the Championship for. They also add that there is no rush on their end to do a deal at this stage, though.
Forest have been in search of strikers for much of the summer and continue to be despite signing Taiwo Awoniyi for a club-record transfer fee. Watford forward Emmanuel Dennis is being heavily linked on Wednesday, with the Reds apparently preferring a loan deal initially that includes an option to buy rather than a permanent transfer this summer.
