Nottingham Forest are 'interested' in Manchester City youngster Morgan Rogers.
The 19-year-old has spent the first half of the season on loan at fellow Championship side AFC Bournemouth.
He has made 15 appearances under manager Scott Parker, though only one of those was a start.
Bournemouth would lose their option to buy Rogers if his loan deal were to be voided this month.
Man City are 'considering' recalling the youngster amid interest from both Forest and Huddersfield Town, according to the Daily Mail.
If Rogers stayed at Bournemouth, City could earn as much as £15m from a permanent deal in the summer.
Forest have until 11pm on Monday, January 31 to secure a loan deal for the youngster this month.
If Rogers is the next to arrive at the City Ground, he would be Forest's fourth signing of the window.
Striker Keinan Davis has scored on loan from Aston Villa, while defenders Steve Cook and Richie Laryea have arrived from Bournemouth and Toronto respectively.
Rogers' potential arrival would provide further competition for Brennan Johnson, who has been the subject of heavy interest from Brentford this month.
Speaking about Johnson after Tuesday's win over Barnsley which saw him score and register an assist, Cooper said: "We don’t want to be taking him for granted.
“He looked a threat when he got the ball.
“Even things like getting the two left-sided defenders booked early on, you’re thinking, ‘well, keep getting at them’ - I don’t want to sound too cynical.
“His assist was brilliant for Yatesy’s goal, and his goal was brilliant.
“He’s a talented boy. And we love him. We’ve just got to keep working hard with him and keep pushing him.”
