Nottingham Forest are looking to agree a new contract with Brentford and Crystal Palace target Brennan Johnson.

The Bees saw offers worth more than £10million rejected during the January transfer window and other Premier League clubs, including West Ham, have considered moves for the 20-year-old sensation, who will be a target for a number of clubs in the summer.

Johnson's current deal expires next year but Forest have now entered talks over an extension in a bid to ward off interest from elsewhere.

"We knew Brennan was always going to stay through the January window," David Johnson, Brennan's father and agent, told the Garibaldi Red podcast. "I spoke to the owner and had a very good chat.

"He told me how he sees the club and its future. We said great, we'll carry on talks. There's 15 games to go so let's sit down and try to get something sorted by the end of the season."
