Nottingham Forest are said to have started talks over a move for Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbyk.
A busy summer is expected at the City Ground as boss Steve Cooper looks to shape his squad, ready for the top-flight. That will include bolstering his attacking resources to ensure the Reds have plenty of goals in their side.
Forest were linked with 24-year-old Dovbyk over the weekend. The forward currently plays for Dnipro-1, in his homeland, but he could be on the move in the coming weeks.

Ukrainian outlet Sport Arena claim the player’s agent, Aleksey Lundovsky, has confirmed “negotiations between Nottingham Forest and the Ukrainian club regarding the possible transfer” of Dovbyk have started. A price tag of about £10m (11.7m euros) has been reported, with Italian outfit Torino also credited with an interest.
In the season just gone, Dovbyk notched 14 goals and weighed in with five assists in 18 league appearances. He counts Cherkaskyi Dnipro, Dnipro, Zaria Bălți, Midtjylland and SønderjyskE as his former clubs, and has represented his country at international level - with Forest said to have watched him in action against Wales on Sunday.
The Reds will look to add some more firepower to their ranks as they prepare for their return to the Premier League. They are expected to explore the possibility of bringing back Keinan Davis, following a successful loan spell from Aston Villa, and also have Sam Surridge on the books.
Skipper Lewis Grabban’s contract is coming to an end, however. And decisions will be made on the futures of Lyle Taylor and Nuno Da Costa, who have been on loan this term.
