Goalkeeper Brice Samba has completed a move from Nottingham Forest to Lens.
The 28-year-old has penned a five-year contract with the French side, in a deal thought to be worth 5m euros (about £4.3m). It ends his three-year stay at the City Ground, where he had been a firm fans’ favourite.
Samba will go down in Reds folklore for the part he played in securing promotion to the Premier League. A key player throughout last season, he produced a standout performance in the penalty shootout against Sheffield United to send Steve Cooper’s side to Wembley.

Transfer 'talks'
Nottingham Forest have reportedly held talks with Bayern Munich over a move for English left-back Omar Richards.
Richards is available for around €10million (£8.5m) this summer, just a year after joining Bayern from Championship club Reading. The left-sided player featured 12 times in the Bundesliga last season as Bayern won yet another league title.
Richards, who also played four times in the Champions League for Bayern, earned his move to Germany following two impressive years in the Championship with Reading. The 24-year-old appeared 92 times in the second tier for the Royals, including 41 games during the 2020/21 campaign.
The London-born defender joined Bayern on a free transfer last year, but he now looks set to move on. Richards has represented England at youth level and earned one cap for the under-21s in 2019.
'Red alert'
Nottingham Forest have been put on red alert after transfer target Joe Aribo "rejected" a new contract offer from Rangers.
The 25-year-old midfielder has been linked with Forest for some time, with the Reds said to be among a number of English clubs interested in signing the Rangers star. Aribo was on impressive form for large parts of last season at Ibrox and, while his form dipped after the Africa Cup of Nations, he scored in the Europa League final and was key to Rangers' Scottish Cup win.
According to talkSPORT (via Daily Record), Forest are joined by Southampton, Crystal Palace and Fulham on the list of clubs interested in signing Aribo. The Nigeria international's decision to turn down a new contract could see him become available on a cut-price deal in the current window.
Aribo is out of contact at Rangers next summer, so if he is not keen on staying around then Rangers' hand might be forced. It makes an exit from Ibrox look increasingly likely and a move to Forest would make sense for the midfielder.
Fixture changes
Nottingham Forest have had five fixtures rearranged after the Premier League confirmed their live television fixture schedule for August and September.
The Reds will mark their return to the Premier League on August 6 away at Newcastle United after defeating Huddersfield Town 1-0 in the Championship play-off final in May.
With just over a month until the start of the 2022/23 season, the Premier League have changed the dates of five Forest games. Four of the five games will be live on television on Sky Sports and BT Sport.
Steve Cooper 's side's first Premier League game at the City Ground since May 1999 will now take place on Sunday, August 14 at 2pm on Sky Sports, with West Ham United making the 139 mile round- trip.
