Nottingham Forest in £120m transfer claim as 'offer' made for Dean Henderson alternative

Forest make ‘offer’ to player with £9m release clause

Nottingham Forest are one of two clubs to reportedly make an offer to Spezia goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski, ahead of a potential summer move.

Forest are on the lookout for a new goalkeeper this summer. Both Dean Henderson and Keylor Navas returned to their parent clubs this summer after spending last season on loan at the City Ground.

The Reds are keen to make Henderson’s move from Man United permanent this summer, but uncertainty over the future of David de Gea at Old Trafford has delayed any potential move. The Spaniard is now officially out of contract and is yet to agree a new deal.

'£120m' transfer claim made over Gibbs-White and Johnson

Nottingham Forest have been told that Morgan Gibbs-White and Brennan Johnson are worth £120 million this summer, as the club fight off interest in the latter.

The Reds have reportedly turned down an offer from Brentford for academy graduate Johnson this summer. The Bees are said to have offered a fee of £30 million.

He impressed in his first season in the Premier League in 2022/23, after playing a key part in the club’s promotion the previous season. Aston Villa are among other teams to be credited with an interest in the Wales international.

He played a total of 38 league games, scoring eight goals and providing three assists. It was Johnson, along with summer signing Gibbs-White who caught the eyes of people looking from outside the club, with their performances.

Hudson-Odoi 'wants to leave Chelsea' amid Forest links

Callum Hudson-Odoi has reportedly decided to leave Chelsea this summer amid links with Nottingham Forest.

The 22-year-old rose through the West London club's youth academy before making his first senior appearance for the Blues during in 2018 during an FA Cup clash against Newcastle United. He has made more than 70 appearances for Chelsea.

The forward spent the second half of the season in Germany on-loan at Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen but failed to settle having provided just a single assist whilst also failing to score a goal during his time there.

It was previously claimed that Chelsea "are prepared to raise further funds by selling Hudson-Odoi" with the Reds said to be interested.

Forest 'receive loan offer' for Scarpa

Besiktas have submitted a loan offer for Nottingham Forest midfielder Gustavo Scarpa, it is claimed.

The 29-year-old arrived at the City Ground in January but has made just 10 appearances for the Reds due to a combination of injury issues and personal problems back home in Brazil.

His most recent appearance for Steve Cooper's side came in Forest's 2-1 defeat at Leeds back in April. He is yet to score or provide an assist for the Reds.

And Turkish daily Takvim (via Skorer), claim that Besiktas have submitted a loan offer for the Brazilian which "includes an option to buy clause."
