Striker Keinan Davis has felt “at home” at Nottingham Forest - and that could open the door for a potential return to the City Ground.
Since signing in January, the Aston Villa loanee has played a key part in helping the Reds secure promotion to the Premier League. Having only returned from a hamstring injury a fortnight ago, he was in the starting line-up at Wembley on Sunday as Huddersfield Town were beaten 1-0.
The front man has previously said he would be open to putting pen to paper for Forest, with his future at Villa Park up in the air this summer. And as Steve Cooper’s side prepare for a return to the top-flight, it will be an important transfer window on the banks of the Trent.

Davis’ family were in the capital to watch him help the Reds get over the line. His parents were then on a train out of London full of jubilant Forest fans, holding on to his winners’ medal for safe-keeping.
Speaking to NottinghamshireLive during the journey, the 24-year-old’s dad, Jimmy Thomas, said: "I'm really proud. He worked really hard to get where he is. We're really proud of him.
"It was really exciting. I really enjoyed it.
"I think that's the third time he's been to Wembley, so for him to play this time and experience all of it was really nice, especially for us as well. He spotted us in the crowd and was waving and sending love hearts.
"He has really enjoyed it at Forest. He felt at home at Forest. His game really came together there.

"The manager... what a manager! He's brilliant. He knows how to get the best out of the young players, it was really good seeing what he's done with Keinan.
"He loves the supporters, he loves the team, he loves the coach, he loves everything. He felt at home at Forest. They have got the best out of him.”
Earlier this year, when asked whether he would like to stay beyond the summer, Davis said: “Yeah, of course. This is the best I’ve played and the most I’ve enjoyed my football in my whole entire life, so it’s just great to be here.
“We have a bit of banter about that, about loving it here. But as you can tell by the way we’re playing, you can tell us loan signings all love it here.”
