Man Utd clause speaks volumes about Henderson future after Forest transfer
Dean Henderson may still have a future at Manchester United despite leaving the club on loan for Nottingham Forest in the summer.
The goalkeeper left Old Trafford in search of regular minutes before the start of the 2022-23 campaign after failing to start a single Premier League match last season. After two impressive stints at Sheffield United in 2019-20, Henderson returned to United in the summer of 2020, but only start 12 league games for the Red Devils the following campaign.
United allowed Henderson to leave the club again for game time this summer and they have since replaced him by signing Martin Dubravka on loan from Newcastle United until the end of the season. Reports in Italy claim that Newcastle pushed to sell him permanently or at least include an obligation which would've forced the Red Devils to keep him ahead of the 2023-24 season and be stuck with two goalkeepers on the wrong side of 30.

Souness makes Forest prediction and sends Cooper message
Graeme Souness believes Nottingham Forest will struggle this season after their summer spending spree.
The Reds recruited 21 players in the summer window and spent close to £150million on their new recruits following promotion out of the Championship last season. Steve Cooper's side have started slowly in the Premier League having only one of their first six games and Souness thinks they will be involved in a relegation fight come May.
"The biggest part of his job this year is keeping their heads up," Souness told Sky Sports. "Nearly every weekend last year they won a game.
Forest vs Fulham fixture update as fresh statement released
The National Police Chiefs' Council has confirmed that they are working closely with other organisations to ensure events are held "safely and with the appropriate security" as the next round of Premier League fixtures remain in doubt ahead of the Queen's funeral on Monday, September 19.
Nottingham Forest are due to host Fulham at the City Ground on Friday night after their trip to Leeds United - which had been scheduled for Monday night - was postponed following the Premier League's decision to postpone all action after the Queen's passing.
With the Queen's state funeral set to take place on the Monday following the next round of Premier League fixtures, the NPCC said in a statement that a national policing operation had been activated and that UK Policing was working with organisations to ensure sport goes ahead in the coming days.
Brighton stance on Cooper revealed amid Forest fears
Nottingham Forest head coach Steve Cooper is currently "not an option" to fill the managerial vacancy on Brighton & Hove Albion..
The Seagulls are looking for a new manager after Graham Potter left to take charge of Chelsea earlier this week, with Cooper named as a potential replacement.
Cooper has received a lost of justified praise following the way he turned Forest around last season, taking the team from the foot of the Championship table to the Premier League in just eight months.
