Nottingham Forest will reportedly be paying goalkeeper Dean Henderson's full £110,000 weekly wage after 'agreeing' a season-long loan with Manchester United.
The 25-year-old is expected to become the club's number one next season and potentially debut against Newcastle United on the opening day of the Premier League season next month. Henderson could even become a permanent fixture, with the Reds reportedly persuading Man United to include a £20 million option to buy the player next summer in the deal.
Henderson has been limited to just 49 Premier League appearances over the last three seasons, including his last loan to Sheffield United for the entirety of the 2019/20 season, with undisputed number one David De Gea ever-present in the league last season for the Red Devils. The one-cap England international made just three appearances across all competitions last campaign.

According to The Athletic, Forest are believed to be paying the player's 'full salary' for the duration of the deal. Just last week, it was understood that such reports of paying Henderson's whole wages made earlier in the discussions were wide of the mark.
Our colleagues at the Manchester Evening News have previously reported that the goalkeeper is on £110k per week at Old Trafford. That would make Henderson comfortably the highest earner at the City Ground.
