Nottingham Forest exile Hwang Ui-Jo has opened up on the disappointment of his transfer to the club in the summer.
The South Korean striker moved to the City Ground from Bordeaux after hitting double digits in consecutive Ligue 1 campaigns. But he is yet to make an appearance for the Reds, having been shipped out on loan to Olympiacos immediately upon arrival.
The 30-year-old has failed to make an impact for the Greek outfit, though, and is yet to find the net. He has only started two games however, making just five appearances in the Greek Super League in all, although he has seen more game time in the Uefa Europa League.

The Fifa men's World Cup didn't offer much of a reprieve for Hwang, who struggled in South Korea's opening group game against Uruguay. He was subsequently dropped from the starting line-up for their next three games at the tournament.
With his chances of breaking into either the Olympiacos or Nottingham Forest team very low, Hwang's future is now up in the air. He readily admits that the move has not worked out as he hoped.
“The summer transfer market was unfortunate, but I couldn’t help it. I tried to make the best choice," he told Korean news outlet Sport Nate.
Hwang remained tight-lipped on the next step of his career, but expressed his desire to play at the 2026 World Cup in North America, despite the fact that he will be 34 years of age by then.
"There is nothing I can say. Of course, I dream of the World Cup in four years. I think that if I do my best every day, there will be good results.”
He added: "It would be a lie if I said there was no regret. The World Cup was a dream since I started playing soccer. Now the World Cup is over. My team I have to go and do well."
