Nottingham Forest academy coach Andy Reid is one of the bookies' favourites to be named Notts County manager.
Forest's neighbours are on the search for a new manager after Ian Burchnall departed Meadow Lane in order to take the reins at newly promoted Forest Green Rovers.
Burchnall, whose Magpies side let slip a 1-0 lead over Grimsby Town to lose 2-1 in the play-offs, will now lead Forest Green in their debut season in League One.

One name Notts could be considering is Forest academy coach Reid, who has been priced at 8/1 to take over from Burchnall. Reid - once the Ireland Under-18 head coach - has been ranked as one of the leading candidates by BetVictor who have offered Mike Williamson (4/1), Tommy Widdrington (5/2) and Kim Engstrom (2/1) as the only better options.
Reid, 39, has no senior management experience but has a strong pedigree in youth development having taken over from Chris Cohen as head coach of Forest's Under-23s in September 2020. The Reds' youth side reached the Premier League 2 Division 2 play-offs - where they were beaten 2-0 by Stoke City.
