Nottingham Forest fans were fuming after a controversial penalty was awarded against them while taking on Luton Town on Friday afternoon.
Jack Colback seemingly handled the ball on the edge of the box in the 37th minute. There was, however, a question over whether it was on the perimeter or outside the box altogether.
Replays showed that he was on the line when the ball touched his arm, meaning it was a penalty and not a free-kick. It's also worth considering how close he is to James Bree when the ball is kicked onto his arm, meaning he has very little time to react.

On top of that, the Luton player seemingly bats the ball away with his own hand. Forest fans were incensed that that infraction was not punished, but as it took place after Colback's initial handball it does not count in this instance. Kal Naismith converted from 12 yards.
Forest supporters took to Twitter to express their deep frustration with the referee's decision to point to the spot. Here is what some of them were tweeting:
Nathan: Luton player literally just punched the ball into Colback
Paul Marcuccitti: Can’t say I’m sure what Colback could have done with his arm there other than having it cut off. #NFFC
Claire-Louise: On the second angle that was shown, the Luton player hits the ball with his hand against the other guys face and that’s a penalty? Madness.
Sweeney-NFFC: Joke of a decision
forestaremagic_: Ref is an absolute shambles yet again #nffc
Sophie: Wasn’t a penalty at all
Callum Bonham: Never a pen
nffc_df8572: He handballed it after makes no sense, natural position as well
Molly: Don’t do this to me today
