Nottingham Forest fans send formation message to Steve Cooper ahead of Blackpool clash

Nottingham Forest fans have taken to social media to give their thoughts on the lineup that Steve Cooper could pick for the early kick-off against Blackpool.

The Reds travel to the coast knowing that three points would be a big boost to their play-off hopes at the end of the season. Forest currently sit in ninth place in the Championship table, three points adrift of sixth placed Blackburn Rovers, but do have three games in hand over their rivals.

The game against Blackpool will be Forest’s first Championship game in three weeks after their involvement in the FA Cup quarter-finals before the international break. Steve Cooper’s men were praised for their performance in the 1-0 defeat against Liverpool at the City Ground.

Ahead of the game against Blackpool, Forest fans have given their thoughts on the possible team that Cooper could choose . Taking to NottinghamshireLive’s Facebook page , they have highlighted a possible formation change that they would like to see.

Michael Musson : I really hope we don't go back to that 4-2-1-2-1 formation, it cost our last two managers their jobs.

Luke John Williams : we have mbe soh who can play centre back we know as fans to release Johnson we gotta have Spence the freedom to attack and with 2 centre backs it don't happen so play 3 centre backs and let Spence and Johnson do what they do best on the wing. Cause Johnson needs Spence and other way round

Robbie Rawlins : 3 at the back for me cafu in?

Ben Patten : Need to go back to a back 3,4 at the back nullifies Spence

Samuel Shaw : I like the three at the back with two attacking wing backs! Clearly Soh and Laryea aren't up to it.
