Nottingham Forest fans have been celebrating the sudden return of Joe Worrall for their FA Cup clash with Leicester City.
The star defender had been expected to be on the sidelines for at least six weeks after suffering broken ribs against Millwall midway through January.
At the time, head coach Steve Cooper said: "He’s out for six weeks with broken ribs.
"He did it early on in the game against Millwall last week when he hit the post.
"If you look at his game back, some of the things he did with three broken ribs were incredible - and great testament to the guy that he is.
"Obviously we’re going to miss him for a little bit. But these things happen, and it’s next man up."
But, just a few weeks after sustaining the injury, Worrall is back in the Forest squad for their FA Cup clash with Leicester City this afternoon.
Here is what Forest fans said of the news on social media...
@DavidHo1mes: Great news to get Worrall back and that Cook’s fit, surprised the old war horse Colback isn’t in there but Garner has been top drawer recently and Yates is in good form. This is a free hit and a real tactical battle between two great coaches
@mgrice90: Worrall back! Wow! Man is made of steel!
@davinabhakta: Worrall’s back
@Nesto25: Joe Worrall. Playing with broken ribs? What a hero
@Jonathan_Hill: That team news really makes me smile. Shocked to see Worrall back so soon, all the new signings in the squad and Lolley as a lovely little surprise too. Strongest possible line-up for Leicester’s big day out.
@McBrads95: Was not expecting worrall & cook to be back so soon & for Lolley to make the bench at all. Hopefully Yates has another big game cause these will look to exploit his slowness
@TrentsideTree: Yes! Worrall is back!
