Nottingham Forest supporters have all shared the same feeling about the Reds' link with Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope.
The Sun reported that the Reds are "ready to try their luck" with a bid for the England international following the Clarets' relegation to the Championship. Despite their final day heartbreak, Burnley are said to value Pope at £40million and Forest are keen to grant the goalkeeper's wish of staying in the top flight.
It is reported that the player's camp feel they can lower the price to £10m, though that has been "laughed off" by people at Burnley.

Since signing from Charlton Athletic in 2016, Pope has missed only eight top flight games over the previous three seasons and has won the club's Player of the Year and Players' Player of the Year twice.
The goalkeeper, who is currently away on international duty with Gareth Southgate's side, will be hoping for a return to the Premier League ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar in November.

In the aftermath of the rumour, here is what some Forest fans have had to say about the possibility of Pope joining the City Ground outfit on the NottinghamshireLive website...
lookwho: No Samba has earned his spot. We would not be here without him. Better spent elsewhere.
ScarletHound: Why would we even consider this? £40m. Don't make me laugh. Their entire squad isn't worth that! We don't need a keeper.
BR14NC10UGH: Even if we were in a position to do this (asking price, and currently having an able keeper dictate we're probably not), if he leaves it will be to a top 10 Prem side in my opinion. He's too good for anything lower.
ForestPat: Can't see this. We have 2 decent goalies. We have to sort out the loan players first & giving a new contract to Brennan Johnson.
Executive85: Every players price will go up if you are buying and you have got money but £40 million is laughable. Who makes these stories up?
Nottz8: Personally I don’t think the 2 goalkeepers we have are good enough to play in the Premiership by all means give them a go but I’d take Pope all day long 100% quality keeper definitely Premiership quality.
