Nottingham Forest fans all say the same thing over £15m transfer 'fight'

Nottingham Forest fans would love to see Steve Cooper sign Djed Spence this summer after reports in the national press suggested the Reds will "fight" to keep him at the City Ground.

Spence has been a key member of Cooper's squad at Forest this season with his wing-back style drawing plenty of attention. The 21-year-old has scored twice and contributed five assists in 38 Championship appearances.

The wing-back is currently on loan at Forest from fellow Championship side Middlesbrough, but the England youth international is contracted to the Teesside club until June 2024.

Reports claim that Forest are keen on signing Spence permanently, but they face a transfer "fight" with Brentford "plotting" a £15 million bid for the wing-back.

Here is what some Forest fans had to say about the transfer rumour...

Joe Frost: Can understand if he went to an established Prem club but Brentford? Can’t see that being a good move for him

Louis Thomsen: I would love this to happen. Feel we need promotion first. We got this

Paul Majer: Don’t think Boro will let him go cheep as few club want him

Stephen McCubbin: 15m is an absolute bargain for him

Ross Gilson: Thinking it will depend on if we get promoted

Scott Day: Quality. I’d break our transfer record for him and he loves it here

Holly Glanfield: I do hope he gets to join us in the premier league next season
