Striker transfer link
Nottingham Forest could have another fight with some of their relegation rivals on their hands ahead of the summer transfer window , with the Reds one of four clubs linked with an interest in Villarreal striker Boulaye Dia.
The Senegal international is currently on loan with Serie A side Salernitana, where he has caught eyes with his performances. In his 28 appearances in Italy’s top league, he has scored 11 goals and provided a further six assists.
The 26-year-old both scored and assisted in his side’s 3-0 win over Sassuolo on Saturday. He scored the side’s equaliser vs AC Milan last month in a 1-1 draw.

Brighton predictions
Paul Merson and Chris Sutton disagree over who will come out on top when Nottingham Forest face Brighton at the City Ground on Wednesday night.
The Reds will be desperate to pick up three points as Steve Cooper's side remain in the Premier League bottom three. Forest last won a game in a 1-0 win against Leeds at the beginning of February.
They take on a high-flying Brighton side who are pushing to qualify for Europe next season, although the Seagulls may still be hurting from their heartbreaking FA Cup defeat against Manchester United on Sunday.
Defender on ‘complicated’ Forest spell
Former Nottingham Forest loanee Loic Bade has said that his unsuccessful time at the City Ground was a ‘blessing in disguise’ following his move away from the club.
The centre-back joined Forest on loan from French side Rennes on deadline day in the summer transfer window , the defender signing until the end of the season.
However, his time at the club didn’t go how anyone would have hoped. The 23-year-old was only included in a Premier League matchday squad once in the first half of the season, being an unused substitute in the 1-0 defeat against Wolves back in October.
‘Most important game of the season’
Brighton and Hove Albion manager Roberto De Zerbi has said that his side’s clash against Nottingham Forest is the most important game in their season following FA Cup semi-final heartbreak against Manchester United.
The Seagulls fell to a 7-6 penalty shootout loss against the Red Devils at Wembley Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Solly March’s missed spot-kick proved to be the difference between the two teams after 120 minutes.
Brighton are back in action on Wednesday when they visit the City Ground to take on Forest . The clash is a big one for Steve Cooper ’s side as they look to end a long winless run in the Premier League .
